As a full-time student in the Fashion Media Design diploma program at Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), I completed a range of creative projects across fashion communication, marketing, and design. Each project combined research, strategy, and visual execution, giving me hands-on experience in both creative direction and promotional planning.
Winter Story: The Korner Collaboration
Project Goal: Create visual content to promote The Korner’s products.
Target Audience: Young fashion-conscious consumers.
My class collaborated with The Korner shop to produce a photoshoot featuring their products. I designed a social media poster to accompany the shoot, highlighting the brand’s aesthetic and storytelling.
Sustainable Fashion: Creative Thinking Project
Project Goal: Explore how fashion can address environmental challenges caused by fast fashion.
Target Audience: Environmentally aware consumers and brands.
I developed a creative concept focused on sustainability, presenting ideas on protecting the natural environment through mindful fashion practices.
Magazine Cover Design
Project Goal: Apply design fundamentals to create a fashion magazine cover.
Target Audience: Readers of contemporary fashion publications.
Using Adobe Illustrator, I created a minimalist magazine cover concept, experimenting with typography, layout, and brand identity.
Social Media Promotion Plan: 45R Brand (Japan)
Project Goal: Develop a comprehensive social media strategy for 45R.
Target Audience: Denim enthusiasts and global fashion audiences.
I conducted in-depth research into the brand and created three distinct social media strategies with feed layouts, promotional content ideas, and clear audience goals.
Fashion Magazine Project: Harper’s Bazaar (Student Edition)
Project Goal: Reimagine Harper’s Bazaar September issue with original research and design.
Target Audience: Women interested in luxury fashion and trends.
As Editor, I conducted visual and trend research to curate a student version of the Harper’s Bazaar September issue, focusing on styling, fashion editorials, and contemporary themes.
Bread n Butter: Social Media Content Plan
Project Goal: Build brand presence on Instagram through a 30-day content strategy.
Target Audience: Fashion consumers and potential brand collaborators.
I prepared a detailed 30-day Instagram content calendar, including posting strategies, captions, and brand positioning ideas, aimed at building engagement and supporting influencer-brand collaborations.
Trend Forecasting Book
Project Goal: Produce a trend forecasting report with color, material, and styling analysis.
Target Audience: Fashion designers and product developers.
I created a concise trend book, including a predicted color palette and styling concepts. Visuals were adapted from WGSN references and supported with curated mood boards.
